The Result

Currently in progress, this page will be updated as we reach key milestones

The Project

The inlet works is the first process - and one of the most critical - in the Pukete Wastewater Treatment Plant and is where screening (also referred to as pre-treatment) of raw sewage flows from the entire Hamilton City wastewater catchment is undertaken.   Neuflow is providing project management services for this upgrade.

This project involves the complete replacement of the existing inlet screening facility, and changing from three screens to four. The facility is being upgraded to meet the capacity demands of Hamilton’s growing population and to achieve a higher level of resilience, whilst also meeting compliance requirements.

Our Approach

Neuflow is project managing the new inlet screen facility, and we'll update this page as milestones happen.

Neuflow has also been involved in the upgrades of other treatment processes at this site.  These were project managed in different stages to incorporate a new activated sludge bioreactor, a high-rate secondary clarifier, an advanced pump station, and chemical storage facility.  (Read about those in our past projects)
